FLAPPER STYLE BABY HAT
This pattern is now available for purchase on Ravelry and Etsy, it is in sizes prem through to 18 months and made using 8 ply (DK, light worsted, sportweight) yarn).

Hi Heidi,
I would use the 2 year old size as that will fit a 2 - 4 year old, check your tension and you may wish to go up a needle size to a 4.5mm.
